Apologies for the terrible image quality - I’m lacking scanner access at the minute so I had to take these photos on my phone

I was reading hyperbole and a half’s blog entry explaining their experience of depression and decided to make another sketchy comic based on my experiences with anxiety, which is another mental illness I think people tend to misunderstand quite frequently

Hopefully this will be of use to some people - whether they suffer from anxiety themselves or if they just want to know more about it

Reblogging in case there is anyone out there who reads my blog and still respects/supports PETA. I remember when I first started Feminish a little over a year ago, I wrote a commentary about the org, and to my surprise, a lot of folks had no idea they were waist deep in this kinda bullshit. (Good thing to bookmark for when folks ask for evidence later.)

They do it because the believe that the domestication of animals is animal cruelty. Personally, I think my dog likes it a lot better on my sofa during a storm then she would outside and I think my cat and dog both like having anything they could possibly want or need. I consider them both equals to myself and my parents consider them children. I don’t think that’s cruelty.

Octopus have no real bones in their body, except for a tough beak made from chitin, so they can squeeze into small places when fleeing predators. They’re highly intelligent creatures and have shown to demonstrate observational learning, they’re known for escaping from their aquarium enclosures and occasionally breaking into others for a snack.

Also, captive octopi occasionally show affection to their caretakers after an extended absence.

Tragically beautiful. This transformation shows one man’s journey from beard to non-beard status. He got hurt a long the way (the band-aid is evidence of this) (apparently cats prefer beards), but he never gave up.

so my brother put up this barbed wire about a year ago and my dad sent him a text that said “the barbed wire you put up at bennett still looks good it’s even a weave catcher” and we were like what the hell does that mean he’s lost his mind…

then he sent this

apparently some girl tried to jump the fence and her weave got stuck in the barbed wire

Was anyone else thinking this was a chicken that had horrendously flown to it’s death
